FOCIP work party at state parks
Friends of Camano Island Parks volunteers will be hosting a work party at Camano Island State Park, next week. Meet at 9:30 a.m. Tues., July 7, at the Camano Island State Park ranger station. Women's club picnic at Cama Beach
The Camano Country Club's Women's Club is having a picnic at Cama Beach Mon., July 13, with carpooling from the country club, 11 a.m., picnic at 11:30 a.m. and tour of Cama Beach at 1 p.m. Members are asked to bring their own sandwich. Art for adults summer schedule
Summer art classes for adults at John Delzell's (formerly John Muhler) studio (2177 Highland Dr., Camano Island), start June 26 and continue through the end of August. Students may join at anytime. Classes are held Fridays at two different times, 1-2:30 p.m. or 4-5:30 p.m. Full Story

Black Cat fireworks stand moved
The Black Cat fireworks stand previously located at Christian Family Center (top of the hill as one comes on the island), has moved to the Camano Auto Parts store parking lot, located about a half mile past the church on the north side of Hwy 532. It will be open until July 4. Full Story
