Thanks to art show volunteers
Dear Editor: The Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild recently had its 7th Annual Spring Art Show, a judged event, at the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center in the historic west end of Stanwood. Global warming affects economy
Dear Editor: I question the wisdom of pitting the economy against the environment as Bob Hooper did in his June 9 letter, where he says the economy must come first. On a basic level, this is like the question about two men on a sinking ship — one has a life jacket, while the other has enough cash to buy 10 life jackets the next time they get to the store. Assault weapon should have been locked up inside
Dear Editor: I was surprised to hear that an Island County deputy's patrol car, that is normally parked in front of his home in full view of East Camano Drive, was vandalized. I was even more surprised to learn that a laptop computer, digital camera, cell phone and loaded assault rifle were stolen from inside the car. Full Story
