Book sale hosted by Camano Library The second annual Camano Island Library Friends book sale Sat., June 27, will offer great deals on books, media and collectible volumes, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale will be held in the Windermere parking lot near the library at the corner of Sunrise Blvd. and East Camano Drive. Profits will be part of a funding effort to maintain the library after the initial three-year pilot project ends in June 2010.
AARP Safe Driving class Friday An AARP Safe Driving class will be held at the Camano Senior and Community Center Fri. June 26, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register at the center.

New classes start in July on Camano
Line dancing lessons at the Camano Country Club begin July 1, 7 p.m. for beginners free half hour trial class, and 7:30 o.m., intermediate dances. Fourweek sessions begin July 8 and August 5.
