Helping, one at a time

Despite the sagging economy, members of Cedarhome Baptist Church recently raised over $10,000 for rescuing teenage moms and their babies caught in a web of human trafficking. A number of fundraisers were undertaken, such as second-grader Khyla Boyer's bake sale, which brought in over $600. Pictured with Khyla is former Congresswoman Linda Smith, who heads up Shared Hope International, and who received the symbolic check from church members.
