Partial road closure for drill at SHS

Stanwood High School (SHS) will hold an emergency response drill for a chemical spill on Fri., June 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

272nd St. NW, the road directly in front of SHS, will be closed during the drill.
Police, fire department and school staff will practice the incident command process and learn how to properly respond to a chemical spill. The training is required for a safe schools grant through the state Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. SHS campus will be closed during this time.
