LEONARD V. TESLOW
Leonard Victor Teslow was
born Nov. 11,
1918 in Saskatchewan, Canada, to Lars and Ragna Teslow. Leonard passed away peacefully at his home on Camano Island Sat., June 13, 2009.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gladys; son, Jim (Julie); and daughters, Linda Buntin (Skip) and Lori Williams (Michael). Leonard is also survived by grandchildren, Jeff (Amanda) Buntin, Marci (Dave) West, Lydia and Joey Williams; and great-grandchildren, Zack and Conner Buntin.
He is preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses, Floyd (Alma), Edna (Ted) Romstad, and Irene (Norm) Johnson.
Leonard will be missed by his nieces, Sandy McLaughlin, Pat (Ted) Klatt, Carol (Jerry) Martin, Judi Marcoe; and nephew, Mark (Cathy) Johnson and their families.
Leonard will be remembered for his sense of humor, integrity, inventiveness, tinkering, curiosity, and devotion to family. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army 1075th Signal Corps in Europe.
For the past 20 years, Leonard and Gladys lived at Camaloch Golf Course on Camano Island, enjoying golf and laughter with many close friends. Leonard worked for Boeing and the General Services Administration, retiring in 1982 to travel with Gladys as a snowbird to southern states.
Arrangements at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Stanwood, are pending.
