Raise funds for ROTC
Dear Editor: It is my understanding, because of budget problems, Snohomish High School is thinking about dropping its Marine Corps Junior R.O.T.C. program. Many years ago, Major Bob Adams was in charge of this program. Everett had a Marine League unit named "Hal Moe" Evergreen detachment. Through this unit we met Major Adams. Full Story

Dear Editor: On Sat., May 23, we received a skittish, sweet dog from Airedale Rescue. He was with us 20 hours when he took off for his version of a mini-vacation, swimming at Tillicum Beach, browsing at Tyee Grocery Store and playing with area dogs. Full Story
