Clean Camano coloring contest

Camano Island Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring another island-wide litter pickup Sat., June 6. The event kicks off with a free continental breakfast at the Camano Multipurpose Building, 141 North East Camano, 8:30-10 a.m. For more information, call the chamber office at 629- 7136 or Don Maile, 387-6900. New this year is a coloring contest for ages 16 and under. Entry forms may be picked up at Windermere Real Estate, 818 N. Sunrise Boulevard, Camano; the NEWS office, 9005 271st Street NW, Stanwood; and at Camano Island Chamber of Commerce at Terry's Corner where entries may be mailed to, 370 N. East Camano Drive, #5-80. Be sure to include name, address and contact information. The winning entry will be used as the official poster for next year's Clean Camano. Entries must be received by June 12.
