Studio tour was a big success

Dear Editor:

An open letter to our Stanwood and Camano friends:

The 11th annual Camano Island Studio Tour is now behind us, and we're happy to report another successful year. Attendance was excellent, and we're always happy to bring so many smiling faces to our community.

The Tour would not be possible without the help of those in our Camano Arts Association who contribute so much time and energy. But we owe equal thanks and appreciation to our sponsor-partners, who make such a difference.

Many thanks to Haggen, Whidbey Island Bank, Daniel Smith Art Materials,, Angel of the Winds Casino, Windermere Realty, Designs Northwest and H2K Design.

Your support is invaluable. We are also grateful to the Snohomish County Hotel-Motel Tax Fund and Island County 2 percent Public Facilities Fund; those grants enable us to do so much more.

We hope our business communities enjoyed the benefit of our Tour visitors; it's always good to know that everyone shares in this extraordinary event. And thanks to our reader board supporters and everyone who handed our brochures for us. You've all been a part of the success.
