Life jackets available for kids at Kayak Park
A program to prevent drowning that lends life jackets free of charge is underway at Snohomish County's Kayak Point Park this summer. The loaner life jacket cabinet, located at the park boat ramp, opened for the summer Fri., May 22. Kayak Point is safe for swimmers
The half-cup of water in the clear, sterile plastic bottle seems insignificant. However, the saltwater samples collected from Kayak Point County Park last Tuesday will indicate whether or not the water is safe for humans.
