Keep Camano Island Library in operation

Bait and switch with health care
Dear Editor: Not to belittle the accomplishments of the first 100 days, but while the country was enthralled with the reversal of some Bush era rules, Washington, D.C. is once again deaf to the American people. Dear Editor: I suppose it was with some amusement that I first looked at the Web site John Koster is using in his bid for re-election to the county council (www.kostercountry. com). He makes references to Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine and their central focus on liberty. Full Story
Evil of abortion must be stopped
Dear Editor: Sweden has now made it legal to abort a child simply because of its gender. Our children have now become like the cars we drive, the purses or watches we wear, or the colors of our neckties, bound simply to preference and individual taste. Children are now accessories, decorations when we want them, bits and pieces in a dumpster when we don't. Full Story
