Rumors that the state ran out of money to pay school districts turned out to be true. However, the state plans to use federal stimulus funding to make up the difference, said district Supt. Jean Shumate, Ed.D. Instead of receiving $2.3 million from the state during the last part of the school year, that money will come from the federal government. Full Story
New state budget flawed says Bailey
State Rep. Barbara Bailey (R-Oak Harbor) categorizes the recent legislative session as a missed opportunity.
