Carl Nelson was born Dec. 28, 1937, in Burlington to Herman and Maxine Nelson. He passed away Jan. 13, 2012, in Mount Vernon.
Carl graduated in 1956 from Mount Vernon High School. Following high school Carl joined the United S tates A ir F orce a nd served eight years. During that time he went to many different countries and served in the Vietnam War. Full Story

Geraldine “Jeri” M. Jelvik-Dixon, 71, of Whitehall, Mont., was born May 12, 1940, and passed away Jan. 23, 2012, due to an illness complicated by diabetes.
She was born in Everett to Lavonna and Warner Jelvik.
Jeri put a smile on everyone's face. She was a loving, caring, beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She lit up every room she entered. Full Story

He was born at home on Camano Island and when he was 6 years old his family moved to Stanwood where he lived the rest of his life.

While the snow was softly falling from the sky, Portia Wilkes passed away in her sleep on Jan. 16, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ronald and Grant and her sisters Doris and Luvella.
