Be advised that the Stanwood/ Camano NEWS adopts the Washington State law for child care workers. If you are caring for children not related to you & you're doing it on a regular basis, you need a license from DSHS to be legal. We will only accept advertising from those that have a license. To advertise your day care service under our Child Care section of the newspaper you must have a State Issued Child Care License number to keep in our records. Babysitting ads will also apply.
